Ahoy there friends,
Time again for a little celebration of the forthcoming new album of mine, this time with a single called ‘Species Traitor’.
The song title was taken from Kevin Tucker‘s anarco-primitivist zine of the same name. Unfortunately I’ve never been able to get my hands on a copy of it, but the name really speaks for itself, and gets the mind thinking about what defines our species, and what treachery in that context might entail. Consequently the song is really all my angry thoughts on civilisation lumped into one, with some sharp glares at the left and the right.
The single will again be a download only from bandcamp and will come with two other exclusive tracks that not a soul other than me has ever heard before. My band and I will be releasing the song out into the ether at our next live show at Power Lunches in Dalston, London, this Thursday, September 4th, 2014. It’s a night put on in collaboration with our good friends Knievel Dead and ZAMOS who are also playing. It’s £5 on the door, open at 8pm. Event details here, please take a moment to RSVP.
If you can’t make it down, check back here at marmadukedando.com while we’re onstage for the link to listen and download ‘Species Traitor’ and the b-sides.
Lay down for the market baby.
